IMP Electronic Systems offers aircraft customers the service of analyzing flight data recorders (FDRs) and cockpit voice recorders (CVRs).
For FDRs, IMP Electronic Systems extracts data from the FDR units, which is then converted to engineering units for display. The displayed format represents waveforms and each waveform refers to a specific parameter. IMP Electronic Systems complies with the customer’s standard protocol, most often derived from the OEM, for FDR analysis with a report detailing the results generated. For CVRs, data files are extracted from the CVR units and then converted into audio tracks, which are then analyzed by IMP Electronic Systems’ experienced systems technicians. Based upon the recorded tracks, an intelligibility report is released with the results.
